This beer was aimed at the traditional and simple British pale ale. Simple, malt-driven beer with a minor hop influence.

4.5% Alc. 30 IBU. 6.8 SRM.

 

Grain Bill (38L brew)

4.44 kg Pale Ale (Barrett-Burston)

1.78 kg Munich I (Weyermann)

1.26 kg Munich II (Weyermann)

0.31 kg Wheat Malt (Joe White)

 

Hop Schedule:

38 g Target (10.1%) @60min [28 IBU] – A popular English bittering hop suited to Bitters, mild and pale ales.

19 g East Kent Goldings (5.7%) 25min [1.6 IBU] – All purpose hop with spicy and floral aromas and a spicy flavour.
